PHENOMENAL ACHIEVEMENT IN NATIONAL LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
Md. Aamir Hussain, a student Class-VIII of DPS Dhaligaonhas made a remarkable achievement by securing second position at the National Level Painting Competition(Under National Campaign on Energy Conservation 2019) organised by Government of India, Ministry of Power held on 12th December at Gurgaon.He was awarded with a certificate, a laptop, a prize money of Rs. 50,000/- and a fixed deposit of Rs. 50,000/- in a prestigious award ceremony held at VigyanBhawan, New Delhi on 14th Dec.'2019 in presence of an elite gathering.
 
CHAMPIONS IN VOLLEYBALL


DPS Dhaligaon emerged as Champions in XXII Inter School Girls Volleyball Tournament organised by IOCL Bongaigaon Refinery on 25th& 26th November '19 at the BGR Sports Complex. Our school achieved the top position in a tough battle among 11 participating schools, defeating St. Albert's High School, Bongaigaon in the finals.

Ms. Astha Barman achieved the BEST SETTER title in the tournament. At the same time Ms. KankanaGoala got awarded as the BEST SPIKER.
 
1st RUNNERS UP IN DPS NATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT BOYS (U-14)-2019
DPS Dhaligaon shines in yet another sports achievement. The school football team (U-14) emerged as the 1st Runners Up in the DPS National Football Tournament Boys(U-14) 2019. The tournament was held at DPS Navi Mumbai from 11th to 13th November 2019. Mst. Shadman Shariq Kamran was awarded with the GOLDEN BOOT in the same tournament.
 
National Champions Trophy in the DPS National Athletic Meet-Boys(U-14)-2018

Delhi Public School Dhaligaon records yet another glorious victory winning the Overall National Champions Trophy in the DPS National Athletic Meet-Boys(U-14)-2018 organised by DPS Ranipur at Hardwar .

A team of six students, Antariksh Saikia(IX), Amandeep Chaudhury(VIII), Dhiman Jyoti Kalita(IX), Mausam Dihingia(IX), Arunabh Roy(IX) and Ujjain Aditya Pathak(VIII) participated in the event. Altogether 51 Delhi Public Schools from across the country with more than 350 athletes participated in the Championship.

Antariksh Saikia secured Gold Medal in Shot-put Throw and Silver in Long Jump, Aman Chaudhry secured Gold in 200 m race and Bronze in 100m.race. Antariksh, Aman, Dhiman Jyoti and Mousam secured the Gold Medal in 4x100m Relay Race.

ZONAL CHAMPION at The Inter DPS Football Tournament- ZONE-4 Boys (U-14)

The Inter DPS Football Tournament- ZONE-4 Boys (U-14) was held in DPS Nazira from 14/10/2019 to 16/10/19. In the said Competition DPS Dhaligaon emerged as the Champion Team and got qualified for the Nationals to be held from 11/11/2019 to 13/11/2019 at DPS Navi Mumbai. At the same time , Mst. Prasurjya Gogoi was awarded the Best Goal Keeper's Trophy in the Tournament.

 
FIRST RUNNERS UP AT CBSE CLUSTER -I Volleyball Tournament Boys (U-19)
CBSE CLUSTER -I Volleyball Tournament Boys (U-19) was held in DPS Nazira from 25/10/2019 to 26/10/2019. In the said competition, DPS Dhaligaon emerged as the First Runners up .
ZONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN SHOOTING
Mst. Vikrant Singh of Class VIII of the school won Silver madel in "10 mtr. Air Pistal Junior Men Under 22 Category " in 7th Noth East Zone Shooting Championship held at Sports Shooting Range , 4th APBN complex at Kahilipara Guwahati from 19th to 23rd August 2019.The prestigious medal was awarded by the Education Minister of Assam Sri Siddhartha Bhattacharjee in Ceremony graced by the Hon. Chief Minister of Assam Sri Sarbananda Sonowal .
